TOUR HIGHLIGHTS

Whale Watch WA:

Whale watching in Augusta during the winter months of May-August and then in Dunsborough and Busselton for the spring months of September through to December. Beautiful Capes to discover but most visitors come for the annual Humpback & Southern Right Whale
migration. Flinders Bay & Geographe Bay is a resting area for the southern migration of the Humpback Whale and the calving grounds of the Southern Right Whale during the northern and southern migrations.

West Winds Distillery/Tavern:

To complete your day West Winds Distillery, they have been distilling since 2014. You will indulge and discover gin in a masterclass
including a charcuterie board.

Itinerary:

Augusta – May – August: Cape Leeuwin is a pivot point for the northern Humpback Whale migration as it is the most south-westerly point of Australia.The sighting grounds are within Flinders Bay as the whales hug the coastline on their journey north providing the ideal location for whale watching in sheltered and protected waters.

Whale Watch WA:

Dunsborough September – November  The epic southern Humpback migration reaches a peak during this time as the Humpback Whales arrive in Geographe Bay on their journey back to Antarctica to their summer feeding grounds. During this time of year, we can see much activity amongst the Humpbacks including intimate mother & calf interactions as the new generation is taught the Language of the Whales.

 Whale Watch WA: Cape Naturaliste Humpback Whales arrive in Geographe Bay on their journey back to Antarctica, see Dolphins, Fur-seals and array of bird life. crystal blue waters while taking in rugged tip of Cape Naturaliste one of the most photographed locations with unrestricted viewing.

Nookery Cafe @ Woody Nook Wines:

Lunch we head to the Nookery Cafe at Woody Nook Wines for a two-course feast and glass of wine. After lunch enjoy a seated wine
tasting in the gallery.
